“Since 2016, Global Family Travels has been fortunate to have Kelly McCoy work as our Program Manager for Africa Learn-Serve & Immerse tours, and for the last two years has been instrumental in developing some of our community tours in Greater Seattle.
Kelly has excellent communication skills, is extremely organized, and works independently to ensure the tasks at hand get done. Her extensive knowledge of sustainable tourism, and supporting local community goals, and her attention to every detail is highly appreciated. I am grateful to Kelly’s contributions to the growth of Global Family Travel and would enthusiastically recommend her to any organization that is considering hiring her.” Jennifer Spatz, Founder & CEO Global Family Travels

... a reliable individual with high attention to detail for sourcing, vetting, and collaborating with non-profit organizations internationally.

Kelly began contributing to my non-profit over one year ago. She jumped in during a major push to build relationships with other non-profits and NGOs and worked on designing an itinerary for my trip across the world to work with other causes and promote them via social media. Kelly elevated my group’s aesthetic by creating elegant designs across everything she touched. In fact, she designed a template to use when contacting other groups, which we use across all our initial contacts to ask about potential collaboration. Kelly has a dedication to connecting people who could benefit from one another and a keen sense of how to engage, source and vet other non-profit and NGOs.

Kelly has been a great talent for the Charitable Nomad team. She’s excited about helping the world and those in need by connecting like-minded groups.

A creative, detail-oriented, and savvy consultant with a passion for connecting groups to collaborate with one another. She’s great at working independently and can produce high-level work.

... extremely professional and very pleasant to work with. Kelly focuses on developing and evolving our giving and fundraising strategy around the customer we serve and our business goals. She helps build sustainable relationships with our non-profit partners and has grown our core collaborator base and increased donations. I highly recommend Kelly to any company that is looking to boost their non-profit efforts.

...a huge help to our business! Kelly is extremely smart, passionate, and her care for her work shows with results. Kelly is very thorough and ensures everyone is on the same page with her projects. Her consistent professionalism, and delightful personality makes it easy for her to forge new partnerships and create long lasting relationships, and represent our business in the best possible light. I highly recommend working with Kelly, she will always go above and beyond!!

...impressed with her abilities, appreciative of all her help, and highly recommend her.

Our nonprofit operates in an unusual niche: We organize volunteer trips to sustain some of the world’s greatest landscapes and cultural sites. At the outset, Kelly focused on learning about our organization and our volunteer trips, trying to understand what makes them so special and why people would want to participate on the trips. She also researched a potential target market that was new for us. She then converted her knowledge into creative and effective materials she could use to market our trips to the target market.

Her help has been especially noteworthy because we are a virtual organization, so the marketing collaboration with Kelly was done long-distance. It was clear that she is a well-organized, self-motivated person who follows through on her promises. Last but by no means least, she is a genuinely nice person whom I have enjoyed working with.

...dedicated and extremely effective connector of companies and people with causes that they can support. In her role as consultant to C4, she negotiated a relationship in which C4 was able to support Peak 7 through the sales of their product, gaining visibility for both C4 and Peak 7 that led to eventual sponsorships of Peak 7. It was truly a win-win for a young company and a small nonprofit!

In addition to her role as consultant, Kelly brings a much-needed strategic and business-minded eye to Peak 7 as a board member. Her involvement improves and professionalizes the often reactionary nature of nonprofit fundraising and governance. She understands the need for nonprofits to develop lasting relationships with individuals as well as corporate sponsors and networks brilliantly to connect the two. She is passionate about connecting low-income and minority youth to new opportunities and it shows in the time and effort she puts towards Peak 7.
